Disadvantages of colleges for me as an Engineering Student and Cybersecurity practitioner (learner).

Last 2 weeks of my life is like a nightmare due to my College’s activities…

Two weeks ago I created a plan for my learning path consist of Daily activities to do which are:

1. Tryhackme Daily Streak
2. TCM’s Practical Ethical Hacking
3. Hackthebox
4. Javascript
5. Cisco Networking Academy
6. Other stuffs — INE,Cybrary,Udemy
7. Some Programming

Everything was going great for four days…on fifth day of my daily plan a message from my college shocked me that they asked us to complete all my record works within a week to get practical mark so its quit a big task to complete it all within time and after a day our college management announces schedule for Model exam from tomorrow (Wednesday) that too in offline mode which was awful 😢 that me and my friends know that we gonna fail in that exam. the funny part is the college management itself knows that students will fail if they conduct exams in offline 😆 so this things makes me not concentrate on cybersecurity.

So for next three weeks gonna be a disaster the exams will be over on 17th sept. after that I Decided to SUBSCRIBE for TRYHACKME because it has really really great stuffs!

So its been 3 months since I started writing blog I published my first blog on June 14 In the Topic: Kid in Cybersecurity! totally I’ve 6 blogs some of them goes well some of them not! Now the point is I Gained Two followers Niraj Wagh and joel herzog Thank you guys for your support really it was a surprise for me I was really happy!.

And there’s some tip for learners those who are beginning in this field

1. If you have an old computer and you can’t run VM or Dual Boot Linux then Don’t worry Take your time 2 or 3 week and learn Linux (atleast basics) there’s hell lot of content out there on internet from where you can learn Linux for more info checkout my blog Beginner resources to learn hacking.
2. I personally installed Parrot OS Home edition MATE DE version because my System is So old that it obviously works on Lightweight OS. and if you have old config PC and going to install Kali Linux then don’t because Kali needs graphics acceleration to run smoothly…
3. And The parrots OShome edition is a default os which don’t include any hacking related tools… which means you need to install tools like Metasploit, Burpsuite, nmap, etc…
4. When it comes to manual installation you’ll face hell lot of errors to resolve which makes you mare familiar with Linux! Always remember “Failure is the stepping stone for success!”.
5. And always remember that don’t login ad root user in Linux always stay in normal user!.
